      Gets hot very fast! – You would never want to use the high setting on this pot! Even on low, it gets hot very fast! I set it on low for about 3 hrs for something I would normally cook for 5-6hrs. Then I turn it down to warm to finish cooking. If I don’t, the bottom starts scorching whatever I am cooking!
