Keeps your coffee HOT. – All the other mug warmers I have used, just keep the coffee lukewarm. This wonderful warmer keeps it HOT. You have 3 setting 130, 150, 170. If you put it on 170 your beverage is HOT. Love my new warmer.

Makes the morning joe last – I usually only have 1 cup of coffee in the morning and I try to make it last. This little warmer keeps it hot while I read the paper, do the crossword, etc, etc. It would also make a great guft.

Meh – I’m Learning That Desktop Coffee Warmers… – I’m learning that desktop coffee warmers are just that – WARMERS. I like my coffee HOT. When it starts to cool off I want something to keep it HOT. These things don’t do that – they warm your coffee. I suppose the next move will be to buy a hotplate…

Why? – I had a nice one with three settings, but at 167 not quite hot enough; I read the notes on this one and bought it, thinking the three degrees at the hottest setting would make a difference. Coming this weekend, so I gave the other good one away. I wish I hadn’t, for if you read the directions when it arrives, the three temperatures listed are just a range; that or lower. Had I known it, I would never have purchased it.

Love this coffee warmer keeps coffee just right – My apt gets very cold during the winter months and even with the heater on my coffee would get cold in a matter of minutes. Well no more, I love this coffee warmer and it has 3 different temperature settings from 170 degrees, 150 degrees to 130 degrees. It also has an automatic shut off if you forget to turn it off. You can set how long you want to keep it on.from 2 to 4 hours. My only complaint is that the buttons have to be pressed hard to turn on but other than that it works great. And I you like super large super size.mugs they don’t fit very well.

Higher Temperature, good price/value – But hard to control/turn on with a balky sequential (yuck) on/temp setting button, the main reason for the lost stars. Takes a bunch of coaxing presses before you get lucky and it turns on. Then the settings work properly until after its off again and the rigmarole starts again. Very good heat available, starts with low around 130 deg – where most others top out – but goes up to a claimed 170 deg and really does the job and will probably handle the less than perfectly “flat, thin bottoms” (of specialty warmer type) cups better than most allowing a wider choice of cups/mugs usable with the higher heat available.

A Good Coffee Warmer – This coffee or tea warmer is in a class that has a micro-switch at the bottom, so it turns on automatically when you put a cup of warm beverage on it. I find this to be a must for convenience. This one has a couple of other controls – temperature and time “on”. The latter is redundant, since it does not turn on unless there is a cup on top of it.
