It works for a cheap blender ! – It works has long has you don’t fill it with ice . You will need to only go half full of ice for frozen Margaritas . Has far has noise , well if you don’t like your neighbors make sure you make some smoothies at 5 am that will tell you how loud this thing is !!

Great product!! – We replaced our old blender as it had a plastic tank with a fixed blade. What a pain to keep clean and couldn’t be placed in the dishwasher. This tank is glass with a blade that can be removed and cleaned and added to the dishwasher. It’s powerful and works very well. Even comes with a smaller tank for tasks that don’t warrant the full size glass tank.

Not a Good Performer – I use blenders for smoothies made from frozen chunks of fruit and veggies and I planned to use this one for grinding coffee beans. This blender doesn’t handle frozen chunks very well and needs too much liquid. It also doesn’t grind coffee beans without a lot of encouragement. I found out today that neither this blender or its food processor mate didn’t chop my frozen garlic cloves but rather mushed half of it up. I replaced an old Oster blender for this one and will be looking out for something that can grind, blend and chop as well as my old Oster. Also, neither of the two parts lids fit very well.
