Just so so good – I had this concoction of deliciousness served from a yonana shop in Princeton a number of years ago. I finally got my own machine and cannot believe I waited so long. Easy breezy to use a clean and the flavor choices are yours to create. I’m stuck on banana blueberry at the moment but also love banana mango. Even froze some blackberries to try so who know? If you can freeze it you can yonana it!

Works as advertised – A fairly simple machine to use and clean. It works as advertised. You’ll definitely be buying more bananas if you get this! As other reviews as noted when done you can clean out at least a half of a serving from the impeller. It can be removed with a soft silicone spoon or spatula in two steps. Overall waste is maybe 1/8 or a cup or less.

This is really great! – This unit is small enough to make it easy to store but is powerful and produces a great treat! If you have a large family it may not be fast enough but we are very happy with it.

It’s ok – I did not try it with bananas as it says for the recipes but you do not have to. If you love to eat fruit every day this is for you. I did like it, however all the fruits I love have skins and this product plus skins doesn’t leave it smooth. Maybe that is where the bananas come in. I am not a big banana fan so I did not try it. For mangos and peaches it came out very smooth like a sorbet. With todays prices in living I have decided, since I know I am, not going to use it every day and the price of frozen fruit is expensive, I am going to just send it back. All in all, product is not a bad grab and it does what it says.

Great dessert maker! – I got this because I’m famous for letting bananas ripen too much and then freeze them believing that I’ll make banana bread which never happens. I also get into the idea that I’ll do morning smoothies, so this translates to having more frozen fruit than I know what to do with. Most recipes require a banana base because it’s sweet but close to a vanilla taste. We’ve done straight bananas, strawberries, and peaches and they’re all great! Tastes like sorbet without the guilt of eating it from the store. Also, I’m a million weeks pregnant and am thinking that this would be a great teething snack for our baby once she gets to that stage (either frozen fruit or frozen breast milk). Requires a bit of force to push the frozen fruit.

The recipe book is great. There is one mistake! The chai recipe calls for goram masala- THIS IS A SAVORY SPICE- USE A CHAI SPICE just like the name of the recipe. Other than that, it’s easy to use, easy to clean, healthy and delicious. It’s not made starting off that you could drop it several times so I don’t know that the price is really worth it but if you want this product bad enough, it is worth it.
