      A compact stand would be so great – I thought the pieces didn’t lock together fully previously, but I just needed to twist a little harder to reach the click. I absolutely love this immersion blender and also the convenient top mounted blender. A suggestion would be to find some way to have it stay upright to drip off or contain mess right after using it. Laying it down between adding ingredients makes a mess on the counter. Otherwise I really love this blender

      Great for smoothies, but…. – I bought this originally to make smoothies, so running for a minute or 2 works great. But it overheated when run for 4-5 minutes. I make soap so as the soap starts to set it’s about the consistency of instant pudding setting up so not a lot of strain on the motor.

      Love this thing – Absolutely love this. Very easy to switch to different tools. The mixer is a little violent and and I can’t seem to find the speeds on it yet. I flip the switch for speed controls but it doesn’t seem to raise or lower the speed. All in all though I’m very pleased with it.
