Get Amazon’s extended warranty! – This kettle is GORGEOUS abd I’ve wanted one for years. Finally saved up my pennies to buy one but after reading the reviews decided to also shell out for the 4-yr extended warranty. I’m SO glad I did – eight months later the seal around the lid went, as well as the open-lid button. The reviews said this was the most common part that breaks, and it did!

I watched a YouTube review give a very negative review but at the end of the video, she for some reason announced that she got another Smeg kettle for her basement kitchen. Why would she do that if she truly hated the kettle. That confirmed to me that this a great product. And it is. It’s quiet and heats the water fast. Its a well made kettle and it’s looks amazing on the counter. I’m very happy with this purchase.
