The 2 way Hamilton Coffeemaker makes a great hot one cup without a pod & hot full cafe coffee – I would give this a higher rating if 5 if I could. We are heavy coffee drinkers & really like the 2 way Hamilton Coffeemaker. I love how I can make my decaf one cup of coffee & then switch over to make a full pot of hot regular coffee. If you want a cup of hot tea, no problem. Just put your tea bag in your cup, pour your water in the one cup reservoir, click it over to a one cup, put su tue one button & you have instant hot water pouring into your tea cup. The one cup side also fits a tall size thermal mug.

Received damaged, possibly used – My Keurig died (after 6 months of use) and I was in need of a new coffee pot but didn’t want to go back to the expense of the kcups or short lived Keurig. After reading reviews and the option of brewing a full pot or single cup without kcups, I decided to get the Hamilton Beach model.

Overall, a great coffee pot with single-serve and full pot functions, but a few things to note – My husband likes a pot of coffee and I like one cup at a time. This coffee pot works for us. The coffee is smooth and so I think the water temperature is not too high and does not cause a bitter taste, like so many drip pots on the market. I have been using a pour over manual method for over a decade and reluctantly tried this single serve function out, and was pleased with it. It’s a good cup of coffee and I get a 16 oz. cup from one filter-full of grounds (4 tablespoons).
