Does the Job – So I made cream of pumpkin soup with this blender , perfect result . It’s easy enough to clean , a little tight around the blade as expected just to make sure it’s well clean after. To use it well you need to use both hands , you have to press and hold and do a up and down motion to blend the food good. According to the instruction manual it shouldn’t be run for long so I’m assuming it might overheat if one did run it too long , the best way is to do pulses instead of long blends . It serves my purpose , it puréed my soup so it’s a keeper in my book.

So far, so good – I have been using this immersion blender primarily to make mayonnaise and it has worked well. It does get warm and I’m concerned that they limit the amount of time we can use it, however, it’s worked well so far. The instructions state that the blending wand needs to be hand-washed, but I’ve been putting it in the dishwasher with no issues.

sorry I waited so long – Love this immersion blender. I usually choose my kitchen tools based on Cook’s Illustrated reviews. However, after doing research on both the CI recommended Braun and the GE, I opted for the GE,which is comparable in every way, but has a stronger motor.
