Still good after 3 years – I use it about once a month and it stopped vaccum today. I purchased a more expensive brand so it would last. Stopped working after 3 years, but it turned out to be the seals which are easily replaced. Working great again.

How Did I Survive Without This Awesome Machine!!! – Oh my gosh! How in the world did I live this long without this phenomenal tool! It is the cat’s meow! The best thing since air conditioning (I don’t eat bread!). What a space saver, food saver, and money saver!!! I’ve been a vacuum sealing fool!! My husband is keeping close watch on our little pooch because he’s afraid if the dog stops near me, I’ll seal him up! =)

Wide enough for large bags, good size makes it easy to store. – This vacuum sealer works well. It has wet or dry settings but I use the dry setting for meat so it pulls the air out of the bag better. It’s easy to use with the area that holds a roll of plastic bag material and is wide enough for the large bags. The heat sealer requires 20 seconds to cool down between each seal. Food Saver makes a vac sealer that doesn’t require this wait but it costs more than twice as much. This model is worth it for the price and is holding up well using it for less than a year.
