      Works well but a big large – This is not my first experience with an air fryer. My first one was a 2.5 qt which was wearing out. I wanted the replacement to be a little bigger. This one came up on Prime Day.

      Nice but slower cooking – I have a Faberware air fryer that I absolutely love, but it’s getting pretty old. I wanted to get another air fryer before mine kicked the bucket. This air fryer has a nice large basket and is very easy to clean. My only real complaint is that it cooks slower than my original one, which is disappointing. I have noticed it takes about five to ten minutes longer to cook than my older Faberware. Overall it is a good product and I would still recommend it.

But then I found out you can roast, bake, etc in it so decided to try one out. I went with the AmazonBasics one as 1) It was less expensive than others of equivalent size, 2) I have purchased several other AmazonBasics items and all have been great and 3) For the most part the reviews were great.

I absolutely love it! Pretty much anything you would cook in an oven or microwave can be done in the air fryer. It cooks meat all the way through, quickly and leaves a nice crisp surface. I’ve used for all kinds of meat and fish with great results. It also produces a surprisingly small amount of heat- which will be appreciated in the summer. It is incredibly simple to operate and the pieces come apart easily to clean. All around a great appliance.
