I made it work with my FoodSaver – My FoodSaver has an accessory tube that you can pull out. But the tube’s nozzle is too small to make a tight seal with jar sealer. So, I cut one end off the tube that came with the jar sealer and used it as an adapter. That works great!

All about that canning life! – I was so excited to buy this product!! I couldn’t wait for it to arrive! It was so easy to use with my vacuum sealer machine! Now I have several vacuum sealed jars of flour, oats, and pastas in my pantry! One thing I suggest is putting a cupcake liner at the top of whatever you’re sealing so the flour or whatever you seal doesn’t clog the hose! Also, took me a second to figure out why my jars weren’t sealing until I realized I was trying to seal with the rings on my jars . So make sure your rings are off before you apply the jar sealer.

Better than I thought – So I went with the cheapest version of this that I could find….thought it was malarky. It’s NOT!!! I do a lot of canning and dehydrating this time of year and to be able to store my dehydrated stuff in the same containers as my canned goods…is amazing…and I can actually see what I have without squishing it in the foodsaver bags. So…I reuse my canning lids….and I have discovered that if I warm them up they seal incredibly well…but if I want to…I just run the sealer twice and it definitely seals….usually first time is a winner….definitely a great deal for sealing dehydrated stuff in jars

Worked faster than I thought. Great product – I had some leftover saurkraut that I wanted to store in the refrigerator so I grabbed one of my canning jars and lid to give this jar sealer a try. I hooked everything up and hit the vacuum button on my sealer and it seemed like it stopped too soon. I thought maybe I didn’t have it on right so I took the top off to check and sure enough it was already sealed. I tried to pull the canning lid off and it wouldn’t budge. I can see me using this product a lot more in the future. I don’t do much canning anymore but I have lots of jars that I can put to good use filled with macaroni, rice and lots of other dry goods for longer storage in my pantry.

You’re getting what you pay for – This will absolutely work. It does the job. It’s not made to a high quality. If you think this is the same as a roots and harvest top adapter it is not. But it’s half the price and it does work, it’s just kind of a hassle because of how poorly is designed.

Works as well as name brand. – Lost my food saver jar sealer so I bought this one. I am using it with a chef handy vacuum sealer. The connections are not exactly the same, so I had to take one of the tips off of the hose that came with the chef handy and put it on the hose that came with the jar sealer.

Works great – Foodsaver v2244 – I got these to use with my Foodsaver and the hose connects really well. It is a snug fit so you don’t have to worry about it leaking.
