      Annoying to Clean – Don’t Use Dishwasher – I have no complaints except that it is annoying to clean. However, as this is my first French press, it is possible that it isn’t any more annoying to clean than any others of its type. From reading the reviews I thought it might be safe to put in the top rack of the dishwasher and did so a few times, but have noticed that the strainer part has become a bit warped. It still works but doesn’t lie totally flush anymore. (I don’t blame the manufacturer for that because they didn’t claim it was dishwasher safe.)

      Decent press – The press is decent, it’s cute, I’ve had two other French presses and both unscrewed for clean up, and since you SHOULD NOT use soap on the filter or put in a dishwasher to clean, disassembly makes things easier, I soak mine in hot water and then rinse after each use, I can use the carafe for something else later, it was cheap and it came in purple and doesn’t need to be stored on our limited counter space (until I can get my good one out of storage)

      Great Little Press! – This is perfect for 1-2 people. I get about 4 cups of coffee (medium sized coffee mugs). This is much better than the other French presses I’ve had. Often when I’m using the sprayer to clean out parts, others would fall apart. This does too, but the parts aren’t microscopic screws that require a manual to put back together. The parts are bigger & more sturdy & there is less of them compared to other FP’s.
