Great for a Star Wars Fan – This is a great looking R2 D2 popcorn maker. It is not good at making popcorn. Takes over 10 minutes to pop. Does not even pop half of the kernels in the machine. It begins to burn the popcorn so I have to stop it. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

Awesome popcorn maker for Star Wars fans. – I like all of the reviews that prepare the buyer for unpopped kernals going everywhere. They’re true and I appreciate the heads up. The amount of unpopped kernals was not as bad for me. I’d say you can count the amount that you see. The reason they come out (at least for me) is that they were coming out “with” the popcorn. I watched the popcorn lift the unpopped kernals out. Don’t know a solution, but just an fyi. Also, popcorn goes everywhere too. The sides of the chute are uncovered, so that might be something to take a look at. I’m going to add to the chute to direct the popcorn into the bowl. The butter warmer got “HOT!” I was expecting it to be cooler based on other reviews, but I had to use a paper towel to handle the ladle, so please be careful if you have children. I gave four stars for cleaning because of how small the area is where the kernals go. Might be tough to get into the air vents in it if somehow you get a gunk build up. Otherwise, great little buy for the Star Wars fan.

Cute and fun novelty item – So R2 is super cute. He’s not too big, about what I expected. Very decorative when not in use. When not in use 100/100. Can’t wait for my nephew to see him!

Don’t buy to make popcorn. – This is a cool looking popcorn maker, especially if you like Star Wars and R2D2. But only get it if you something to look cool in your kitchen. It’s a very poorly designed popcorn maker. Half of the popcorn doesn’t even make it into the bowl. The shoot doesn’t guide them into the bowl so they land beside it or on the ground. Some un-popped kernels will pop in the bowl and send flying out and to the ground. A great gift for a Star Wars fan, but not if they want to make popcorn.

EXTREMELY MESSY, CANNOT GET POPCORN INTO BOWL – Wonderful device, looks beautiful, a perfect R2 Unit, and amazingly cheap price for such a good looking star Wars Piece, its worth it just to have a really big R2D2 Unit in your room or Kitchen, but when its time to make popcorn, this thing will spray burning hot kernels all over like its a warzone lol, you will be hungry for popcorn and tired from cleaning. But it looks nice lol
