      Elegant & Easy to Use – I love the black/stainless steel look! It’s so classy and elegant. The entire set up was easy! The reusable coffee filter is so nice to have. No more paper filters needed. I appreciate all of the options it includes: making a “strong” pot of coffee, self clean, etc. I also like that if shuts off after 2hrs. Highly recommend!

      Pretty good coffee machine – It’s difficult to find a coffee machine that looks nice in the kitchen, but this works well for that. Makes great coffee and fits nicely on the counter in the kitchen.

      Good coffee maker – I’ve had this machine less than 30 days, and am pleased so far. I selected it for price, backlit display, and convenience of adding water. We had been using another brand that required getting a flashlight to see details such as if the “Auto” indicator had displayed as selected. It also had no water-level indicator visible from the front or side, so one had to either crane the neck over the top to see the water chamber’s tick marks, or move the machine to the front of the counter to see. The Taylor brand has a backlit display, with lighted indicators to show that it is set on Auto, is actively brewing, and such. The clock is a little bright, which is fine by me: it adds a slight night-light effect where it had been dark before. It’s simple to view the level of water being added (we use the sink spray hose) from the top or side, where there is a clear window with tick marks. If one sets it to brew with the timer, then the brew time as set displays briefly on the digital clock before reverting to the time of day, and an indicator light clicks on, easy to view from a distance if one can’t remember whether or not one selected it. The brewed product has a taste that reflects the blend and strength loaded into the filter. It comes with a good durable filter that we don’t use because I’m too lazy to wash it, despite being a cost and paper saver. We were told that standing water from condensation in coffee makers can pose a health risk, so try to dump grounds and dry the unit. The replaced unit was simple to dry around the filter basket housing with a paper towel; this unit has a couple of levels, requiring almost two seconds to dry the grooves. It still beats the unit it replaced, and stands as my preferred brand of inexpensive coffee brewer.

      well built and good lookin – I’ve not had it but a few days. I’ve cleaned it. I’ve not made coffee because it belongs in a rental so i’ve only dropped it off. Stacks up to, or beats, any other more familiar brands. I’d say, buy it. When my house needs one I’ll buy another.
