First time frying – Bought this fryer for Thanksgiving to make chicken wings. The instructions were easy to follow and I love the two basket sizes. The lid helps control the mess so it’s easier to clean. Recommend buying!

Heats up quickly and couldn’t be easier to clean (in the dishwasher). – The temp is a little bit iffy but you soon learn to set it a little lower than the recipe (at least with mine) but overall it works well, heats up quickly enough, and has allowed me to finally make fried chicken that I can trust is cooked properly so for the price I have no complaints. Also, it really does quickly come apart for dishwasher cleaning (all but the heating element itself of course). Now I’m thinking about all the other deep-frying opportunities……

Love this Fryer So Far – So far, this fryer is working well for our family’s needs. We have five people in the house, and we can fry up an entire batch of fries or pork carnitas in almost half the time of our older, smaller fryer. I can’t attest to the temperature dip, but I usually just fill the baskets 2/3 of the way per instructions anyway. This is also a good fryer for those with visual impairments to buy, as there’s only one control–the knob that allows you to turn to the correct temperature. My fiance and I just placed a bump dot where we need it to be most frequently.
