      Good product though I would change two things in the design – The hot pot has a nice, wide diameter at the top, so it is easy to heat up more than water. Can also heat up soup and even cook pasta. This also makes it easy to clean. The two things I would change are: 1) There is no “off” setting and it starts heating up the second it is plugged in, and 2) the power cord is very short. The power cord would not be an issue if I was using it on a kitchen counter, but I am using this in my office. I have an outlet immediately next to my desk, a few inches above the floor, and the pot has to sit right at the edge of my desk for the cord to reach the top outlet socket.

      Great little hot pot – The pot is very basic but was wonderful when staying in a hotel without a microwave. The water boiled very quickly. I cooked ramen noodles with added vegetables and heated water for tea and oatmeal. It saved me from going out for meals while away from home. It easily cleaned up after use.

      DOES NOT HAVE A ON AND OFF SWITCH – you plug it in, it gets boiling within minutes, BUT you have to pull the plug out of the socket to turn it off!. I have had sparks come back at me with this item. I would send it back, box got thrown away before I used it…just be careful…

      This is a light and nice travel hot pot – This is a good travel hot pot…it replaced my blue proctor silex pot (that one was just as good but I lost the lid). I don’t know why they made this pot white- it shows every tomato soup stain and is harder to keep clean. Also, food sticks to the bottom and cakes on. And when you try to clean it, you may scape up the rubber ring on the bottom- which happened with my old one, and now immediately happened with this new one.
