Love it! – I bought this for my neice going to college in UA-B and she says it is perfect!

Love this! – I purchased this for making french press coffee and it works really nicely. YOU control the temperature, so that is a really nice feature. If you want to set it to 205 degrees, you can! Also has that nice vintage green vibe to it, which I just love. I highly recommend this product.

Baffled, rust almost immediately. (update) – Within 1 month, in a dry climate, rust spots started to develop inside the kettle. Everything else is great, but that is a dealbreaker. FTR, I emptied out water almost every night, except for a few. In contrast I had a cheaper $30 kettle did not start to develop rust until years in and I kept water in it all the time. UPDATE: The company has stepped up and replaced the defective item. I appreciate how well they handled this issue and love the product otherwise. My hope is this new unit will not rust. I will update this post if it does, otherwise consider this solved, and my issue a one off. (Star rating changed to 4).

Working so far. – This is my third kettle in two year’s the previous ones were a COSORI and a Bonsenkitchen each one lasted about a year and then just quit heating water. So far I like the looks of the Poliviar it functions as advertised with the minor exception of the temperature control that is a few degrees off. I will try and remember to write an addendum to this review in a year assuming the kettle is still working.
