Don’t throw it. – Made enough delicious ice cream for small portions for 3 kids abd 2 adults. We used cream because it freezes fastest and tastes amazing! To nake ice cream we sat on the floor in a circle, played music and rolled it back and forth quickly between us. Stirred once, after about 12 minutes and rolled around for another 7 minutes. Delicious!

Family fun IceCream maker – Family friendly although it does take a bit longer than I’d like to actually make the IceCream. We had 4 teenagers rolling it for over 20 minutes and it still wasn’t completely ready.

It will break and it may take longer than 20 minutes – I’m a kitchen science teacher and my students use this ball to make ice cream when they are learning about freezing points. I found, through trial and error, that in order for ice cream to be made in 20 minutes the ball must be vigorously shaken which can be difficult for kids to sustain. Rolling it across the floor is not sufficient. Most of the ice cream my 7th and 8th grade students ended up with was more like a shake than solid ice cream but they enjoyed it nonetheless! Warning: It WILL break if it is accidentally dropped (I lost 2 of them because my students dropped them).
