make the interior cup with the blade attached to it removable so you could just wash it. – I love the grinder, but just like the other one that worked the same way, the interior cup/blade doesn’t come out. It would be much easier to clean if it could be lifted out and washed and then snap it back into place.

Lasted 1.5 yrs of rough use & worked great till I k¡lled it – So I loved this grinder. Previous I’d gotten a grinder almost twice as expensive that looked cool but drove me crazy. It had a cup you had to remove that was sharp and it was loud and didn’t grind well. So when I got this grinder I was very happy with it. It doesn’t look like much but it’s a relatively quiet grinder that will turn your beans to dust in less then 30secs. I like a super fine grind for my pour over coffee and I hate spending a ton of time grinding my beans. So I was very pleased with this purchase.

Great price for a great coffee grinder!! – I’ve been looking in the brick and mortar stores in Portland and I wasn’t finding a grinder for less than 25 or $30 so I was thrilled to look on Amazon and find a German or Austrian company making a grinder for roughly $15 and change. It holds more than my old brain coffee grinder that died recently. Increased capacity Plus a powerful motor and great Austrian design and low price makes this one a winner in my book.

Not good for nuts-as stated – I searched for something that could grind harder nuts-almonds, pistachios, etc. This states that it’s good for nuts, spices and grains. It also states that it has a large 3/4 cup capacity. The box and instruction sheet only say for grinding coffee, nothing about other uses. The instructions also say not to fill more than the stainless steel cup in the bottom of the grinder – there is no way that will hold 3/4 cup! It might be more like 1/4 cup. It also grinds everything so fine that it’s like powder – if you try to not get it that fine – you will still have very large chunks- not a consistent size. I was looking for something that would give a size similar to an old fashioned nut grinder – but that would be able to do the harder nuts (last year I broke my nut grinder on pistachios). In order to write a fair review – I also tried using it to grind coffee. That was OK since you want it to be ground fine. However – unless you plan to grind enough for each pot separately, this will still take a long time – doing 1/4 cut at a time! Also the design is not the greatest for not making a mess – when you pull the top off to dump the ground coffee-it’s impossible not to make a mess on the counter.
