Coffee isn’t hot enough – I bought this coffee maker for our 2nd home in another state so it doesn’t get a ton of use. I’m not a coffee drinker but my husband is. The first one I ordered was received broken. The 2nd one arrived in one piece. It was packaged in the box as it would be if it was purchased at a brick and mortar store. My husband’s complaint about this coffee maker is that the coffee isn’t hot enough. He says the first cup needs to be warmed in the microwave and the second cup after sitting on the warmer is ok. I am not going to return this but I wouldn’t recommend buying this coffee maker. Spend a little more for better quality.

It makes good coffee! – While many folks look for the latest and greatest innovations accessories for simple items; which may or may not make a product better I like to find ones that do a single job well. This coffee maker has no clock, no automatic wake up to the delicious smell of coffee, no latte setting. BUT, what it does have is an on/off switch that turns ordinary tap water into a wonderful cup of coffee.

Basic brewing for a basic dude – It freaking does what it needs to do. Simple to use. The one thing they could have done is added an auto shut off feature for safety in case you forget to turn the coffee maker off. They had that on another model they sold that I owned. But it’s a great coffee maker for the price.

Got almost two years out of it.. – For the price, I wasn’t expecting high quality or lifespan. Mr Coffee drip units always did okay enough with temperature and strength for me and this was on par. It was used daily for 1-2 pots a day and the switch finally burned out causing a short coming up on two years.

Good …Entry-level? Coffee Maker – I bought this after my last Mr. Coffee stopped working. I had that little guy for YEARS. I expect this Mr. Coffee will have and equally long and productive life. One thing, I have to fiddle with the coffee grinds in the basket to make sure they all get saturated. Check out the location of the spout and you’ll see what i mean. But, it’s a great little (big, actually– 12 cups) Mr. Coffee!

A very simple automatic drip coffeemaker. – This 12-cup coffeemaker is a very handy, everyday tool to have around in the kitchen. It features a plethora of benefits, along with a few caveats (a.k.a. drawbacks) worth mentioning.

Great product as long as you are not a coffee snob : ) – I’ve had expensive coffee makers in the past and have taste tested them with this $20 Mr. Coffee. To be honest, the taste of Mr. Coffee and most others was the same. Only the Breville had a more refined taste, it’s temperature being 12 degrees higher. But the difference in taste was nominal and surely not worth $380 more! Also, the Breville has more glass and much higher maintenance. Not programmable?? I use Alexa and plug Mr. Coffee into a $15 smart switch. I can program what time it turns on or off, turn on from my iPhone, or voice activated. When I wake up, my first words “Alexa, make coffee”, while still in bed.
