Pretty Kettle – There are a lot of kettle options out there and all will have some bad reviews, this one included. So far so good with this one. Went with it for looks and the 2 hour hold time for keeping water hot. The size was initially a concern because I thought I would want larger. In reality this works perfect for what I actually use in the morning and during the day there is not a problem putting in fresh water since it heats up quickly.

People are correct, the hold feature does not work – Great kettle. Heats up water quickly. Sleek design. Only complaint is that it doesn’t hold temperature however, it reheats so quickly, that it’s not that serious.

Wonderful! – I am really happy with this. Perfect size for me in several ways. It fits well in my small kitchen yet it holds more than enough water for what I use. It is very striking. I have not really figured out how the hold feature works yet, but I accidentally have gotten it to work a couple of times. Still working on that…..but it’s not a key feature so I am not concerned. For me it is simply wonderful!

Confusing at first but works marvelously – It took a few minutes to figure out the startup of this kettle but once I figured it out (I had to actually read the instructions) it is really nice to use. I’m a tea drinker and being able to brew water to the exact temperature, and I have checked this with two different thermal devices, is a big plus. Add to that the fact that it will maintain the desired temperature for up to two hours and this was money well spent. I purchased a cheaper kettle from a different manufacturer and it was dead in 6 months. I have a feeling that this one will outlast the last one by a substantial margin.

Very very pleased – It’s my first gooseneck kettle. Admittedly I had a nice Hamilton beach model before this one, but since I got into pour over coffee, the standard spout was not going to cut it. I wanted a fellow stag kettle, but couldn’t justify the price, especially with a handful of reviews stating they got problematic units, and this could be a phase that I lose interest in. I decided to purchase this one, though I was reluctant on the copper colored buttons. It’s a beautiful kettle, and I’m not one to say that about a “never heard of” brand that is clearly never going to be on a store shelf. The build quality is excellent, it holds just enough water too. I love the temperature lock function that will maintain your water temp around your preset temperature while you are intermittently removing the kettle from the base for pour over coffee. Consistent temperature means consistent brewing. The down side is, you cannot fit your hand inside the kettle to wipe it out for cleaning. Also it takes a little while to get to the 200s for temperature.

As you can see this base is streamlined, designed nicley and has all the buttons easily accessible. This goes up to 212ºF which is exactly what I wanted for my pour over coffee. It is easily adjustable in 1ºF increments for those precise tea temperatures I like depending on what type of tea I am going to brew. I also use this for my AeroPress coffee maker. Heats up super fast and has a hold button to keep it hot at that temperature. I have found NOTHING wrong with this and I hope it serves me well for many years to come. Mecity nailed this one and after reading every review this one stood out supreme. Now I know why. Incredible kitchen must have for the price!
