First batch in the books – Amazing! – I have never attempted edibles because making butter sounds so daunting! This made it seem simple enough even I was finally willing to try.

But this thing NOW – This thing is amazing when used correctly. I used 12-14 grams of some alright (my roommate got the 1/2 ounce) weed. I decarbed the weed (as recommended) at 220 F for 20-25 minutes. Once decarbed, threw my activated weed and two stick of butter into the base of the machine. Then I put about 2-3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil instead of the lethicin stuff they recommended. Popped the top of the butter machine on and set it to 160 and let it go for 2 hours. Since I am a college student, I was looking to be as discreet as possible. I had to make this in my room so I wasn’t sure how it was going to do smell wise. It blew my expectations out of the water. This thing had almost no smell (it was near a window and a fan blowing outside) and what you could smell was mostly melted butter. Once the 2 hours went by I unplugged the machine and let it cool for 5 minutes. Once that time passed I took the lid off and was instantly hit with a very strong cannabis smell. If you’re trying to be discreet like myself, definitely open near a fan and window. Then with the included strainer and glove, poured the buttery mixture through it into a measuring bowl. The best part of it, I got my full 2 sticks (1 cup) of butter back. No butter was lost what so ever.

Worth the purchase – While u may start to question the expense of the machine, in the long run it’s worth it. The functions and instructions are easy and clear on how to use the machine along with bomb recipes to go with it. The gloves it come with will help tremendously when squeezing the hot oil out of the herb. All in all the products are amazing and I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for an herbal infuser
