No low setting available – This mixer is light and easy to clean and wipe down, as advertised. However, I use my stand mixer for heavier duty items. I only use a hand mixer if I’m doing something that comes together quickly or might be more liquidy. This mixer does NOT have a low setting. The lowest setting spins your mixture out of the bowl or instantly overmixes. Don’t even bother with the highest setting. Also, there’s a turbo setting that is similar to the pulse button on a blender. You have to hold it to use it. It’s under the off setting, so if your sliding switch is stiff like mine is, trying to push it down to turn it off forces it straight into turbo mode. I would not recommend this mixer as it is not very user friendly.

Great for mixing natural nut butters – I was looking for an electric tool to mix my son’s natural sunflower seed butter (he’s peanut allergic). We go through a lot of it and mixing it by hand gets tiresome. This tool is perfect! It has a small spiral attachment. I use one spiral mixer, put a slit big enough to insert it in the protective covering that comes on the nut butter and mix (this prevents splattering). Peel cover off when fully mixed. Such a time saver. I can’t speak yet to the longevity of the tool but it’s small size is perfect for this purpose. Love it so far!
