Takes more effort to lock into place. – This mixer bowl with handle is a bargain compared to the KitchenAid original. It works well with all attachments. Just make sure it’s fully locked into the base of the mixer.

This bowl is comparable to the original product. – This bowl is very similar to the KitchenAid original bowl. In my picture, the original KitchenAid mixer bowl is on the right. The original is slightly heavier than this brand, but not a problem. It locks in correctly to my mixer. It appears to be constructed well. I warn you that the price without the $10 off coupon is about the same price point as an original KitchenAid mixing bowl.

Nice additional stainless steel bowl, not quite as good as the original – We used our bowl to make a cheesecake. Fits well into the stand mixer base, feels sturdy. Unfortunately, the dimensions are slightly different than the original name brand. The name brand silicone sided scraper attachment did not scrape the entire way up the side of the bowl. We had to use a silicone spatula to clear and re-incorporate the untouched sides of the mixture, back into the rest of the mixture. Cleans really well in the dishwasher, so we’ll continue to use this bowl!
