Sticking with food saver brand! – We started out with a Food Saver brand and a couple brands later we have circled back around to Food Saver brand. While this is a little pricey, just remember, you get what you pay for and if it keeps my meats fresh and freezer burn free?it pays for itself . We’ve used this quite a bit since we bought it. Very happy and would buy again but hopefully won’t need to. Our first lasted us years and years. Here’s hoping this will too!

Very easy to use – Good quality and easy to use. You need to practice a couple of times the suction function so you don’t overdue it. I am very pleased because food last much longer in the fridge.

FoodSaver V4840 – We used to double wrap our frozen foods in plastic wrap, but after throwing out food due to freezer burn, etc., we purchased the FoodSaver V4840. It removes nearly 100% of the extra air from the food saver bags we fit for our serving sizes. We also purchased the small and large vacuum containers for dry goods that can be stored in the pantry. I love the fact that we haven’t thrown out anything since ditching the plastic wrap and freezer bags for this better solution. We’ve already saved nearly $85.00 – in the 8 months since we purchased the unit and vacuum bags. Sure, it’s not cheap, but far cheaper than the food you’ll throw away, plus all the plastic wrap and freezer bags you won’t have to purchase as well.

Best Machine on the Market – I have one of these at my home in Colorado and love it. Trying to save some money, I bought a low end machine here at my winter home and instantly returned it. It was flimsy and didn’t provide the level of suction I was used to. I guess you get what you pay for. I returned it and ordered the Food Saver high end model. It’s great. Oh, by the way, don’t buy the cheap bags and rolls of material. They are not good quality. I tried the cheap roll and had to waste a lot of it because of wrinkles that the Food Saver doesn’t like to seal over!

GREAT PRODUCT! – We use this on the daily! It is larger but you don’t have to go looking for the rolls since they are held inside. I bought 2 one for home and one for the camper!

Airfree – I used to suck out the air of my hamburger with a straw while I put the meat in baggies but this is fast and vacuums out the air just like that.Easy to buy in bulk and freeze products .

Easy to use if you place the curl down, didn’t read the instructions – After I figured out you need to place the curl down, it worked great. We really enjoy it so far. The ziplock bags you can suck air out of are very convenient and easy to use. I like those a lot. Easy to buy cheaper rolls too. So far so good!
