Works With Nesco VS-12 – I recently purchased a Nesco VS-12 as an upgrade to my Foodsaver. Nesco has an accessory port, but does not support vacuum sealer reusable bags. It’s a shame, since these bags are very useful for cheese, coldcuts, etc. The good news is, this Foodsaver attachment fits into the Nesco port at the top of the machine and the suction supplied is more than sufficient to allow me to use the Foodsave bags. I haven’t tried the Foodsaver cannnisters, bottle stoppers, or food containers yet, but since this attachment is identicle to the one on my old Foodsaver, I would be very surprised if it does not work with these accessories as well.

Works as advertised – The FoodSaver FA2000 Handheld Sealer Attachment works as advertised. The description for this item says it’s only compatible with specific units but this is not true (I spoke with a Foodsaver customer service rep via phone to confirm). I use this with Foodsaver VS1120 (this is a compact model). I like that I can now use the reusable zipper bags. Great for storing cheese or deli meat in the fridge or freezing bread slices.

Perfect replacement for the original – At first, I thought I was going to have to open the Foodsaver to get to the attachment point but then I noticed that on the end of the hose is a press on joiner which allowed cutting the old hose and pressing the new hose on. This had the added advantage of creating a longer hose.

fits Food Saver 2000-015 – somehow I thought the cylinder was a hand pump, It’s NOT. Disappointed. But It does connect to the 2000 and works with the machine. Cylinder is tight to get apart. This is the ONLY place I could find it in stock.
