Movie time at home – This popcorn maker is easy to use. It’s like having movie style popcorn without going to the movies. Adding a little of popcorn salt, butter, and you’re ready to watch your favorite movie or show. I especially like their recipe for kettle corn. If you don’t want to use popcorn salt, sea salt is the best.

Easy to use – The best feature is the simplicity of use. You add in your desired amount of corn and oil and turn the unit on. The stiring motion keeps the unpopped kernels in contact with the heat and virtually all kernels pop. As readers have pointed out, you must soften your butter first before adding it to the top of the unit. Even then, the butter doesn’t melt that well to coat the popped kernels. After all the kernels are popped, you hold the top in place and turn the unit upside down. The domed lid then becomes a convenient container with a provided cap. The interior of the unit is fairly easy to clean with paper towels. There is an indentation around the top of the unit where the lid nests. It is very difficult to remove any oil that has seeped there. I would love to leave some of that oil in place if it weren’t going to turn rancid I would leave a bit of oil. I’ve tried cleaning with paper towels but it is hard to get all the oil that way and requires a lot of time. Q-tips work better, but are still a pain. So far, I haven’t been able to make popcorn as flavorable as Microwave types.

But, it’s kinda a pain to clean and the bowl seems really flimsy- doubt it will last long. We don’t use the melting butter feature.
