A Medical Necessit for ThosNeed a Soft Diet – This morning, I was perusing the items I’ve purchased in the past month in an attempt to see what I could review that might help other customers. Wooden spoons: Check. Heart-shaped straws: Check. Cuisinart DLC-2ABC Mini Prep Plus Food Processor: OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH! That item brought me up short; just seeing it listed nearly caused me to break down in tears, for the Lord has used it to literally revolutionize my life.

Powerful! – Bought one a few years ago and it eventually died after so much usage and rebought the same one because this little thing is very powerful and priced so well! Great for quick small jobs!!

Great little machine – I bought my first mini prep in 2012. After 10 years, the plastic that holds the blades is starting to get a couple cracks so I’m getting another. But the machine still works beautifully. I mainly just make bread or cracker crumbs and sometimes grind a bit of beef either roasted or raw in it. But I’ve used it for lots of things in the past. It does everything they claim, and well. There isn’t a slicer or grater attachment but I have a grater and a mandolin, I’ve no need for extra attachments to store anyway and they don’t ever work great besides.

Compact, Strong, Gets the Job Done – Great little food processor! I’ve made pesto and hummus with it so far and I love it. I live alone, so the size is perfect for my needs. Makes several servings of whatever I’m making and comes with a few recipes in the instruction manual to get started.

Pretty powerful processor – A little hard to understand how to lock everything which then allows the processor to operate but overall really powerful, I love the color and the look, doesnt take up too much space BUT it is VERY LOUD! I prefer to wear ear plugs with this type of noise, super loud squeal.

Great mini chopper – I LOVE this purchase. I bought it to chop up homemade dogfood for my 11yo toothless pooch. I cook chicken and cut it up into ½ in chunks and after a few pulses it comes out ground throughout. I do that w a few other ingredients and after a few minutes the job is done. It’s easy to put together, easy to take apart, and after you use it a few times you get quicker at it. It also cleans up easy. Read the instructions and follow them and you will love this too. I think the biggest reason people get frustrated with appliances is because they do not read the instructions and follow them.
