Mostly a great pot – I love the coffee and the fact I cannot break the carafe. My only complaint is that I keep putting to much water in the reservoir and t spills out the back end onto my counter. I think other coffee pots were a little more forgiving.

Love this coffee maker – Its a Cuisinart. That’s what I wanted. My son has a Cuisinart going on ten years now. Love the gold tone cone. And works well with #4 cone filters. Oh the coffee tastes goooood. Love that you can set a shut off time. So it won’t burn. Easy to use. Lighted display and comes with 1 charcoal filter. This filter makes all the difference. It fits in a little slot inside the coffee maker and keeps the coffee tasting great and the pot/carafe doesn’t get all stained. I do recommend it highly

Great replacement for previous model. Previous model was 8 years old. – New model that replaced a similar model that was 8 years old. The coffee taste better and the newer pot comes out clean and sparkling when washed.

We need something between 4 and 5 stars – Coffee stays hot, intuitive to use, light, doesn’t take up a lot of space. My Ninja broke (complicated to use and clean but makes world changing coffee) and a Ninja is sort of like your wild college romantic partner – everything subsequently tastes a little bland but you are so much happier, safer, more stable, and better off. But as time passes you reminisce about that richness…and in a way maybe life would have been better without that life changing experience you once took for granted until you flew a little too close to the sun and now everything tastes like Folgers. This is a perfectly fine device that makes a lot of sense, will be a stable, reliable partner who will help you raise well adjusted kids as you grow stronger together daily for decades. You don’t need a sports car, or a ninja coffee maker. Settle down, grow up and be happy for once. Enjoy suburban flavored coffee on you manicured lawn just like everyone else.

Makes a nice brew, hard to pour – This would be a five star coffee maker as it has the nice carafe that keeps the coffee warm, a strong brew (1-4 cups) button and easy to use and program. The carafe is poorly designed as you waste about a cup of coffee in that will not pour out of the pot unless you turn the whole thing upside down and comes out in two places making a mess.

not impressed – coffee not robust, flimsy handle broke when dropped – Even though this coffee maker was just purchased a few weeks ago, we are looking at getting a different machine instead of just replacing the carafe due to the broken handle.

Makes great coffee, and I love the carafe that keeps the coffee hot for me – This coffee maker works great for me. I prepare my coffee in the evening to have ready in the morning, so the programmable start was a necessity for me.

Very nice drip coffee maker – I bought this to replace another Cuisinart coffee maker. I am very pleased with its operation and design. And for me and my friends and family it brews up a delicious pot of coffee. I definitely recommend getting a coffee bean grinder and grinding fresh beans before you brew for the best results. Just wanted to add a couple of details. A conical burr grinder is preferred as it does not add any heat to the coffee beans during the grinding process. It just pulverizes the beans to the setting of your choice. As opposed to using a blade grinder which heats up the beans. Secondly you do not need to use a #4 paper filter with this drip coffee maker but it makes sense to use them if for nothing else easy cleanup. Here is an important note though. If you use a paper filter place it into the filter basket and run cold water through it. This will ensure that you don’t get a paper like taste in your freshly brewed pot of coffee.
