      Perfect size – Great for keeping gravy, dip, or side dishes warm

      2.5 qt crockpot – Love it. This replaced a 3 qt crockpot I had to retire. Perfect for smaller dishes that serve 2-4 people. My old one did not have a locking lid and this one does which comes in handy when you are bringing food in it for a potluck.

      Love the size and oval shape – I ordered this 2.5 crock pot casserole because my old one developed checking in the glaze of the crock after 8 years. I waited for this to go on sale. I’m somewhat disappointed. I don’t really need the latches since I don’t travel with it, but I knew that going in. Water collects under the handle & latches of the lid when washed. Not thrilled about the rubber gasket around the lid. The BIGGEST let down was the fact that the crock itself doesn’t have handles like my old one which made it so easy to get the crock out of the cooker. This design with the latches makes it harder to remove the crock from the cooker. Wish they made the old style. The latches would be good for traveling.

We bought this smaller size, hoping we could cut back on the “eat the same thing for 6 days” fiasco we had with our larger slow cooker, and it is perfect. Usually only have enough left for the next day; sometimes the next day. We are very pleased with the size, easy of cleaning, and its consistent temperatures. Worth the price.
