EXCELLENT mug warmer!!! – I am a coffee/tea sipper so I needed a warmer that would keep my beverage at a good temperature for me for a long time. I also wanted a warmer that would automatically shut off if I was away from my coffee for a long time. This warmer does it all!! My old one did not. Also, the mug does not have to be flat on the bottom. I have 100s of mugs and none of them are flat on the bottom. They all have a ridge on the bottom and the warmer works perfectly. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to keep their beverage warm at a worksite – personal or professional.

Works great until it DOESN’T SHUT OFF – This is the first cup warmer I’ve owned and was excited to try because of the auto-shut off feature. The idea of having a 110v heater plugged in on my messy desktop seemed like a fire hazard to me. But with an auto-shut off, I thought it would be okay and it was–until about a month into using it. Today, I noticed the red light that usually flashes when it’s on but has no cup on it was a solid red color (see pic). This means that it stayed hot long after I removed my cup and thus stopped shutting off automatically. I called Amazon and demanded a refund (a week after return window closed). They asked for the defective item to be returned but I persisted that since it’s defective, it’s garbage and should be discarded, not shipped/processed any further.
