Nice compact machine – So far I’m really enjoying this little rice cooker. Normally I only cook 1 cup (measuring cup not the tiny cup they sent). So long as I follow the normal instructions on the rice package it’s all good. I have used it about four times without any overflow issue that others have written about. I have used it for sticky rice and jasmine and both have come out nicely. Only negative is the size of the font on the start buttons. Also the detachable electric cord can come out easily so I’ve had to push it back into the base a time or two- but not a problem since it’s a nice option for storage. This unit has a small footprint which is great for our small kitchen.

Best rice ever! – This is my second one I’ve bought this year. One was for my daughter and her husband, the second for me. Love the design and color options( grey, green) comes with a good size serving spoon. Easy digital screen to operate. Multifunctional. The time it takes to cook the rice is a bit long 40 minutes, however it usually is ready in 30. The rice comes out perfect every time! Yes, it’s a pricey little rice cooker and you can get a cheaper one $15-20 but it your rice won’t taste like this, using CHACEEF

Nice little cooker – Directions are not as clear as could be, but not too difficult to decipher either. Many complained about the measuring cup, it works fine with the machine. First thing I cooked was oatmeal putting in 2 cups oats and one plus half of water. Did not come out as flaky and dry as I prefer, but was good. Brown Jasmine rice was next and it came out nice and separated. The readings on bowl are difficult but are in the outside of cup also. Buttons are difficult to read as some have said, I just lift it up choose what I want to push and set it down, then the location is easy. The reason I’m only doing a four star rating is the hard plastic spoon. I will use a silicone spatula and pitch the spoon in hopes the peeling interior of the bowl will not peel over time.

Decided to try one more time as the design and color appealed to me and the price was reasonable. Now I have a rice cooker that’s dependable and, as a bonus, is pleasant to see on my kitchen counter. I did make some adjustments to the suggested amounts of rice and water to more suit my taste. Two trial runs and I had the rice I wanted.

Honest review- buy this s*** – So I’m moving and I wanted something small that just makes enough rice for me. Ovbiously the design on this is gorgeous and it’s clean so immediatley drawn to it- I was confused reading some of the reviews a lot of people commented on the measurements being off or not knowing- you fill the plastic cup up with whatever rice (I’m just using this for rice) and on the pot it’s marked with measurements (mines reversed?)- instructions say 1 plastic cup of rice = fill w/ water line 2 on bowl. 2 plastic cups of rice = line 4. People also complained about the time it takes – 1 cup = 40min 2 cup = 1hr. It was done in 40, fluffy nice rice. Worth the wait. And also?? Gives me 2 full cups of white rice. Rice was very sticky but not sure if that’s just the type of rice but wow! This was such a find! Love this and if you like QUALITY cooked rice this delivers hands down (& it’s cute?? Hello)
