Love… Hate… But mostly love – Some times when you want to refresh your bread through the application of heat, you wonder if a sentient toaster was prob not the best idea. The Breville BTA820XL is the model just before that. Its got buttons for everything and a sweet LED display that shows how long the toasting process has left. Seriously, it can take a slice of crusty frost bitten and discarded baked good and turn it into something fit for a king, ok maybe not a king but a kingly sandwich that I would happily eat. Its easy to clean but be sure to use the buttons instead of forcing things to go down as this toaster dont play like that. Be gentle and it will treat you nicely in return with perfectly toasted goodness.

Best Breville – This is our second Breville toaster, die cast. Outer other one finally died at 14 years old. The price went up for sure!♡ I am so happy with this toaster. Its got a lot of great options and I love the quirky ” a bit more” and ” lift and look”.

Amazing robot toaster produces beautiful even browning – It’s expensive but it beats any other toaster in my life hands down. i was impressed by last Hamilton Beach toaster with cancel and defrost buttons, but frankly compared to this one it was a pile of junk (costing half as much, it’s true). The Hamilton Beach only lasted 2.5 years, ceasing to operate after an effort to gently clean out all the crumbs.

I don’t smoke, drink, chew or waste any money bad habits, so spending a bit extra on a nice toaster wasn’t too bad of an investment. I was going to buy the SMEG toaster but didn’t care for how it popped the toast right “out” of the unit, at least in a number of video reviews that I looked at. Just buy it and enjoy perfect toast.
