The best, super well built! – Breville is GREAT QUALITY. I’ve had several other brands and this one lasts! Love the detachable wand and it’s chopping attachment and the large blending container. Super quality feeling. We use this almost daily! It’s a few more bucks, but WOW.

Love it – I’ve had mine since 2017 and still love it. It’s been rock solid and I’ve used it a ton. Only thing I wouldn’t use it for again was to mash potatoes. It’s too strong for that and ended up making them too gluteny. The whisk attachment has been a great help for me too because I don’t have to own another product for that purpose. I did a lot of research before I bought this one and I’m glad i did. Definitely recommend it.

This is a great blender – We are downsizing from a house to a travel trailer and I needed to get something to use that didn’t take up a lot of storage room. I went to wirecutter and they highly recommended this immersion blender. I bought it and it works great. I’ve only used the chopping part of it a couple of times. You need to pulse so you don’t over chop your food, but I had to do that with my food processor also. Last night I used the blender on one of the highest speeds. Wow! I’m impressed! Until last night I never needed to turn it very high. I think it outdoes my food processor on blend.

As fast as the wink of an eye! – I had tried a couple of other immersion blenders that seemed sub par – loud grinding noises, or took forever to blend, or needing to stop mid-way through because you weren’t supposed to run it for more than 30 seconds consecutively, or the controls being on the wrong side of the handle, or the battery being insufficient on a cordless version, etc. So since this Breville BSB510XL Control Grip Immersion Blender was the third one I tried, I wasn’t super excited. I put the blender into a pot of cauliflower cooked in chicken broth (wonderful creamy easy soup!) and turned it on. At first I thought it wasn’t running because it was so quiet and smooth. I glanced down to make sure it was plugged in and when I looked back at the pot, it was completely blended! It took like 3 seconds! It was such a surprise for something to be such good quality, so well made, and do its job so well that I burst out laughing – I mean, it’s quite rare these days to get something that actually does all it purports to do, let alone does it well, right? How refreshing! I love this thing. Haven’t tried the food processor part, but since it’s the same powerful, quiet motor, I imagine it will be equally effective. BTW I paid full price for this product.
