has the features that I was looking for, working well – Previous coffee maker quit brewing after 5 years (very good in my experience). I had some features that I used often and wanted again in the new machine. I attempted to buy the same model that quit working, but the “new, improved” version was lacking several of the features that I was looking for (and had been on the “old” model), and the price had more than doubled. I was very happy to find this coffeemaker (has most of the things that I was looking for) and hope that I get at least 5 years of use (we use the coffee maker every day for 1 pot; sometimes on weekends we will make 2 pots)

Just what we wanted – We needed to replace our Kenmore coffee maker which had always made a great cup of coffee but was a just getting old and tired. We wanted a coffee maker that would make 12 cups of excellent coffee. It want about bells and whistles. We wanted it to do its job well. This machine does exactly what it should and as a bonus looks great. Easy to clean. Has a filter. Simple buttons make it easy to use. The only downside is needing a flashlight to peer inside the tank in order to see the graduated water marks, as you cannot tell how full the tank is from the outside. Highly recommend this product. It does it all without breaking the bank!

Great Coffee Maker on you know how to program it. – We purchased this Braun KF7070 coffee maker because our old Braun started leaking. After we unpacked it and read the setup instructions we thought we had it ready to run, not true. First you need to push the power button to be able to activate any of the program functions. Once we got the length of keep warm time set and the brew flavor set we thought we were done. Not true. We needed to first press the power button, then we needed to press the start brew timer, then we needed to press the keep warm button. All three lights needed to be lit so it would start at the correct time and stay warm for 4 hours as we had set it up for. Once we got this done…. wonderful coffee was made! The initial temp of the coffee was very hot at 185*. After being used the coffee temp after about 2 hours still was kept very hot at 175* until it turned off. So once we got it programed correctly it was the best coffee pot maker we have ever had in over 30 years! Because the Braun KF7070 brews coffee so well we are now using less coffee than we used in our previous Braun coffee maker and it makes a very strong brew even set at the lower brew setting. The cost at Amazon was $89.99 but well worth the money. We rate this Braun KF7070 a 5 out of 5 for quality and making a great cup of coffee.

Finally! – We have been through so many coffee makers…Mr Coffee and Black and Decker to name a couple. I just wanted a basic, auto turnoff coffee maker that would last longer than a year. They all seem to drip from the filter when you remove the carafe, and this leads to the heating pad rusting within a year. Not this Braun! Not one drop has hit the heating pad! Very encouraging! We have had carafes crack but this one is very substantial. The whole unit feels substantial! Beautiful stainless steel look over a majority the coffee maker, and not thin metal at all. This has some weight. I absolutely don’t mind that there’s not a outside fill window. I think it looks better without it, plus, there are multi colored and numbered fill steps in the water chamber. You can also tell how much water you need from the carafe. It makes a great cup of coffee that stays hot! I have been searching for this a long time. Love love love it!!!

Coffee Maker – My previous Braun coffee maker died after a couple of years of constant use and coping with v hard water. I thought I had replaced that one with the same model, but this one seems a downgrade of features (but cost more). This is still a good coffee maker but 1 star off as I haven’t been able to get some of the features to work, and I don’t want to send it back as I need a coffee maker!

Beautiful and easy to use – This coffeemaker comes with a washable gold-cone filter, so the natural oils in the coffee are not left in a paper filter. Great coffee and easy to clean. My old Keurig got retired due to mold growth inside it, where you can’t reach to clean it. I am saving money on coffee now and it tastes better.
