Great hot water pot! – I bought this pot for making tea, but ended up using it several times a day because it’s faster than waiting on the hot water faucet to get warm. I’m thinking about buying another one to have on hand when this one no longer works. I highly recommend it. It’s so easy to use.

Good but on the expensive side – I really like this electric kettle! My host family in Chile had two when I was there in June a few years ago and it was perfect for making a warm drink during the winter. When I came back, I realized how popular they were in the States and wanted to try one out for myself. I like it a lot but I have since found so many that are good quality, hold the same amount or more water, and are cheaper. I also wish that when I wiped down the outside, the on/off label hadn’t worn off as easily, either. Other than those couple of things, it’s been a great appliance to have around the house and it works very well! I would recommend it but do your research to see if you can find a cheaper one that holds more water to get more bang for your buck!

We have used it 30 times in 2 weeks! – We use it so much. I didn’t realize how much I was missing a countertop electric kettle in my life. Also, the Amazon Basics brand is pretty all right ✅️ I spoke with my neighbor who works for Amazon and she says the Basics brand is tested more thoroughly than name brands. And is designed to endure the most rigorous use.
