Boils quickly, lightweight! – This kettle is exactly what I was looking for! Even filled with water, it’s lightweight and easy for me (an old lady) to handle when making my pour-over coffee. I’ve only had it about a week, but so far, I absolutely love it! No cons from me – just pros!!

Looks beautiful and heats quickly, but parts seem to flake off after a couple weeks. Health issues? – This was my first electric kettle as I got into tea a few weeks ago. I just couldn’t see paying $100 for a kettle to boil water, so this seemed like a better bargain. I think I’m ready for an upgrade though. This kettle has the perfect size and look. It looks good on the counter top or table top. And it does it’s job — it boils water. But that’s all it does. The most important thing it lacks is some kind of “keep warm” feature, so the water gets colder after awhile. That wouldn’t be a problem because the kettle works fast, except I’m told it’s not good to re-boil water for tea. That also wouldn’t be a problem if I drank my tea in the kitchen where I could just get fresh water. Basically, every time I want to refill my glass, I need to dump the water out and heat a new pot. That’s not so bad, really, but as I’m learning more about tea, I also want to control the temperature of water (not all teas want to steep in 212 degree boiling water).

The perfect simple little hot pot – This is the perfect simple little pot to boil small amounts of water in. I originally bought the 300 cc water boiler, but it was a tad too small for my travel mugs. This one is perfect and can make two big travel mugs of coffee n tea. I’ve been using it daily for over a month without any difficulties. I do not boil anything in it but water so I cannot attest to cleaning it. I like that it has an auto shut off as well.

You can see the water and it’ll click off by itself when it’s finished! It’s not noisy at all and I have an office that isn’t super closed off so I was worried about the boiling sound — it was perfect. This is in my office currently and it’s so easy to pour from. Great Little Kettle! – i wanted to replace a metal tea kettle (that heated water on the stove) that rusted out not long after purchasing it. On a recent trip to the UK I enjoyed the electric kettles in my hotel rooms that boiled water quickly, so decided to look for one to use at home. Everything in the stores was too big. (I am the only one using this) Came across this one on Amazon and it is great. The size is perfect. I fill it about a quarter full for the size mug I use, so you certainly can heat more than one serving of hot water in it at a time. Water comes to the boil very quickly, then the pot automatically shuts off. There have been a couple times I wasn’t right there when it reached the boiling point, but even after sitting for a few minutes the water was still plenty hot. I keep this stored away in an appliance cupboard, but it is certainly attractive enough to keep set out on a counter. It shipped quickly, perfect condition, and a great price. Highly recommend.
