Sealing up Small Portions – The small bags are great to seal up small amounts of onion, celery, etc. Just enough to add to a recipe.

Small but work great – These are smaller than I expected, but that was my fault I didn’t pay close enough attention to the size. However, they work great for freezing individual rice servings.

Works great – I got this due to my toddler always grabbing 1/2 lb bags of nuts and spilling them everywhere. I just put an ounce in a bag and vacuum steal it shut. Works great when you don’t want a big bag with you everywhere you go.

Gee, vacuum seal much? – I’m in the process of preparing food for long term storage. I’ve found these bags to be the perfect size for individual portions of mashed potato buds (1/2 cup) and minute rice (1 cup). I’ve been using my Food Saver to vacuum and seal three bags across. So far it’s been working very well. Works well with waterproofing stick matches as well. I don’t know why others have had a problem with these small bags, perhaps I was just lucky with the batch I received.
