I was a bit suspicious – The product comes with instructions lacking mastery of the English language. No instructions on using K cups nor warrantee. No company info. and if you link to the cust. service address under Q&A, it’s bogus. Also, very positive reviews were stacked on top, very very negative reviews stacked below. However, the machine works…so far. So far, so good. The noted sputtering, I suspect, has to do with the water being pumped and heated. Really not a problem. No mess. Anyway, before I used it a couple of times, I was toying with returning it. I think I’ll hold on to it and revisit this review after a month or so.

It works??? – It would not work at first. I tried turning it on a few times. Nothing. I did get a chuckle reading the Chinese to English translated manual. After reading the manual I was able to confirm I was attempting to operate it correctly. Hands on hip frustration setting in I reached out and pushed the on switch one more time. IT WORKED! It freakin worked. Made a nice cup of coffee. The tiny little machine continued to make coffee for a week. Then a mysterious thing happened. It made a hot clear cup of water. Dumbfuzzled I remove the pod and cut it open to see if it has grounds in it. It indeed was full. So what happened???? No idea. I started over and made a nice cup of coffee. So far knock on wood it has continued to make good coffe for the last week. So to sum up my review is it a good coffee maker?? I guess it’s ok considering the price.
