LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS POPPER! – This is so easy to use. The cleanup is a breeze. You will always have fresh warm popcorn! I loved it so much I bought one for my best friend!

very efficient design. top plate acts as a bowl, simply flip it over. – unlike traditional designs where stir/heatplate is on top of the popper with the enclosure acting as the bowl, this has a easy to access plate that takes seconds to clean unlike the other traditional design. scooping popcorn is tremendously easier since all you have to do is just invert the whole machine.

No other way to eat popcorn again! – The best way to have popcorn for a movie night. My kids love watching the popcorn pop. After reading many reviews I also recommend buying the Amish Coconut Oil to pop kernels with. We’ve had this for a few months and it still works great.

Works better than most I’ve researched. Largest size for this kind. – I’ve researched a bunch of these, and this one offers the largest capacity. It seems to have more/wider holes to let the steam out as well so that the popcorn doesn’t get as soggy/chewy. It says do not add butter to the base oil, but i found that if you put it on the top it doesn’t all melt, and certainly not until the end.

Pops all kernels nearly every time; has a grinding noise – This Stir Crazy replaced a previous one that was several years old and suddenly left 75% of kernels unpopped. The new unit has been used 3 times and left only 2 unpopped kernels total over the 3 batches of four quarts each using Orville Redenbacher’s Gourmet Popcorn Kernels, Original Yellow. The unit is easy to clean.
