Great, but way too small for any smoothie I have ever made – It works well, blends great but two things that are a bit annoying. A few times I have used this, when I blend a smoothie, the cap gets tighter to the point where it takes two ppl to unscrew it. Yhe other issue I have with it is its way too small for any smoothie I have ever made. Thats my fault not the mfr, but figured I’d let someone else know if they want to use this for a smoothie cup, I use 16oz of water and try to put protein powder, a banana and some strawberries in it, and it won’t fit. Get the 48oz blender base if you’re like me.

Solves my daily problem – Yes, there’s a bit of a trick to get these to work with the Ascent models, but once you know how to do it (consult YouTube), you’ll be fine. That said, the fussiness of the product deserves a star deduction. I wear glasses and it’s just entirely frustrating to try to line up the arrows in anything but the best light.

Unsurpassed Quality – Thick polycarbonate material. Thick and strong lids and gaskets. Built to not break and last a long time. Blade base is very heavy and solid. Bearings are TIGHT and smooth. The manufacturing really couldn’t be much better quality. Design is great and function is on par.

Would have preferred a slightly larger capacitycup. – The markings to line up the blade and the cup are not prominent on the product resulting in difficulty connecting with the blender base . Placement and visibility should be considered to make the product more user friendly. The cup could be a little larger to accommodate two servings or a larger cup option.

They’re great (but read this if they don’t seem to work). – When I first tried them, they just didn’t work on my Ascent 3500. I wrote to tech support and they said that you really have to crank down on them, and that’s true. Screw on the lid, put it on the machine, and if the machine doesn’t recognize it, tighten it even more _in the machine_ until it does (the “no” icon will disappear). The lid has to be on there really really tight. Once you do that, they work great.

Best purchase ever! – I have been looking at these blending cups for over a year, they were the perfect tool my Vitamix was missing…However, after reading all of the bad reviews I was a little bit undecided. Than one day a friend of mine bought the new Vitamix and the blending cups all at once and she said she absolutely loved everything. At that point I decided to go ahead and purchase them as well. I was super happy with my blending cups from the very first time I used them, I never got any problems at all, and honestly I do not understand all of the bad reviews that I read about these cups, I just wish I had disregard those reviews and bought them much earlier. I have never had a problem with the machine not detecting the cups, I mean, not once! The blending power and performance is the same as with the big jar, of course you have to use less quantity but that’s obvious…And if you place the items, within the cup, in the right order and with the right amount it is no problem at all. They are easy to use because they’re much smaller than the big jar, so for small things or single smoothies they are just perfect! They are perfect even to make small mounts of butters, like peanut butter, almonds etc. I even use them to make grated Parmesan cheese
