My sealer – i like the sealer , the way it work, the suction & sealer sometimes won,t sealed with a little h20 in it. otherwise i,m please. i use it almost everyday

The best food vacuum sealer EVER – I have had the other well known food saver and it did not work anywhere near as good as this. I love that it has several types of setting to include dry, moist and more moist (like meat, etc). You can also indicate the pump to do gentle as well if you are doing delicate foods you don’t want smashed. I did several ripe avocado and the vacuum is amazing! and I waiting to see if the bag would “relax” like the other brand would do. But they are solid. The only thing I think they can improve on is the dispensing of the bag roll. You have to hold it in place while sliding the cutting blade so there is a little movement until you get use to doing it. It’s not a negative but an improvement option for future models. I love that I can do jars AND you can also use zip lock bags as well. Very worth the money.

Not a Food Saver – This is a bit more tricky to use. There is no latch to close the machine tight for a seal. You must push down on both ends until it clicks. The tray is not removable for cleaning, and the roll area has no arm to keep the roll from moving forward when pulling. And the cutter must be in a certain position to cut the bag. I had my original Food Saver for about 13 years. We bought this one to replace it after it stopped working. It did work though, so we will keep it.

First time to use this was very easy and achieved a good seal on all bags on first attempt.

I contacted support@gavaston.com on Friday and as of Tuesday I had not gotten a response to resolve the issue. On the website is states that they promise to resolve any issue within 8 hours. I guess they meant after they finally get back to you. I emailed them a second time with no response.

Great sealer – I looked at a lot of different brands of sealers and to be honest went for the best price as I don’t do and extremely large amount of sealing of things little did I know the product would be fantastic, the ease of operation is great I love the lock down feature my old sealer you had to push down on front left and right corners which made it awkward. First time to use this was very easy and achieved a good seal on all bags on first attempt.
