This makes great soy milk – I was making soy milk using my instant pot and a blender before and it never was very good. Now using this it is so much better. I really like the addition of the plastic cup that comes with it that will easily hold the mesh screen. I soak the beans right in The inner cup supported by the outer cup and that’s enough water to cover the beans and allow them to soak to the proper consistency and then I just drain it and make my soy milk. Then when I’m done I just let the mash container sit inside the plastic one while I pour the milk into a colander lined with a dish towel. I add the dregs to the colander and squeeze it all out. I have it down to a good routine. It doesn’t make much at once, which would be bad if I had a family, but it’s great for me. It is a bit of a pain to clean, but that’s a small price for the rest of the convenience.

Makes wonderful soy milk easily – I use the Soyabella to make soy milk. It is easy to use but a little bit tricky to get the cup with the soy beans in it attached to the powerhead. You have to wiggle the blending mechanism to move it down through the soy beans. Then you have to be pretty careful that you have it firmly attached. This is not rocket science and it’s not terribly difficult, but it is why I give this device four stars instead of five stars. On the other hand, it does make really good soy milk and it is so nice to be able to stop buying all those boxes that have to be disposed of and also to be able to drink milk that you know is just soy milk and doesn’t have any additives.

makes delicious soy milk – It is quick and simple to make soy milk with this. My only two little quarrels are: 1) it would be even better if the interior of the blade attachment were stainless steel so the milk never contacted plastic and 2) it takes some care to avoid getting the electrical parts wet when cleaning it–though I do appreciate the little brush and green scrubby they provide for cleaning. Still, so much easier than using pots and a blender, and the soy milk is delicious. (Add a pinch of salt to remove the “beany” flavor.) I did grind coffee in it once as well, and that was also easy. Only had it a few months and can’t speak to its durability, but so far so good.

Where have you been all my life? – This is my favorite appliance now! I’ve been using store bought almond milk for years. I never just drank it because it tasted so watery, but It seemed such a hassle to make your own. I made soy milk once and was not on a hurry to make it again. It was messy and time consuming. I heard good things about these machines and decided it was worth a try. Boy, was it!

Saving money making milk and vegan cheese – I’m on prescribed nutritional therapy to help treat a neurological disorder and migraines. I’m on a gluten free and casein free ketogenic diet. I can’t have dairy. I can make amazing nut and seed milks at home and make sure there’s enough fat in there for my brain. I luckily enjoy vegan cheese as much as regular cheese. Vegan cheese is expensive. With this machine it’s extremely easy to make you’re own vegan cheese and soy free tofu (I can’t have soy either but excited to have tofu back in my life!).
