Technique is key to making Microfoam – I’ve owned quite a few milk frothing devices in the past and they mostly produced somewhat lackluster output (overly dry or flat). This particular device performs where the others seemed to have failed for me. Unlike the other frothing devices, , the Subliminial frother does produce a much finer foam that also has the proper mouth feel.. Still.. technique is key and the company offers very good video tutorials to improve one’s skill in frothing proper milk foam.

Fine or microfine plastic with your foam? – Produces nice foam, had it less than a month I noticed a serious defect. I saw black dots in my milk while churning it and I thought perhaps ground coffee fell into my pitcher. Upon removing the screen I realized the plastic is cracking not only on the screen but also on the shaft and peaces of that plastic were in my milk. For NanoFoamer V3 I hope to see an all metal construction and I’ll be back to buy it.
