Heats Evenly & Quickly! Toasts Great & SO MUCH MORE! Perfect for couples/small families. – I don’t write detailed reviews very often, but this product definitely merits a commendation! I’ve had this less than a week and I’ve used it at least 3 to 4 times everyday since it arrived! I absolutely LOVE this sandwich maker! Grilled cheese and ham or grilled cheese and beef sandwiches turn out evenly browned on both sides within about 2.5 minutes. BUT, so far I have ALSO cooked/grilled sausage links, sausage patties, bacon, scones, english muffins, french toast, pizza slices, sliced veggies, sauteed slivered onions, fried eggs (it makes PERFECT “over easy” fried eggs in about 3 minutes), hot dogs, bratwurst links, and pork chops, and I plan on grilling steak and chicken breast fillets on it too. I’ve just started experimenting, and I’m still discovering more uses for it – including baking refrigerated cookies and “pan frying” Chinese dumplings both of which I just tried this evening.

There’s no way to change the temperature so inside of sandwich was cool while outside was hot and crispy brown. I was worried about sandwich burning so I may leave lid unlocked next time see if that makes a difference. Overall, it was worth the money. My teens used to yesterday as well to make a pressed Turkey sandwich and grilled cheese and loved it.

Didn’t expect to like this so much! – I hesitated to buy this sandwich maker, TBH. We’ve had others in the past and never used them. Those were the ones that made triangular sandwiches though, and they didn’t hold enough filling. I also hesitated because we have a very small camper. Multiple purpose items get priority. But we decided a sandwich maker that made a full sandwich instead of triangles with plenty of room for filling ingredients might just get used more than past makers did. We eat lotts of sandwiches at camp because of convenience, fast prep, and easy cleanup, so it seemed logical. It arrived, and the experimenting began. We loved it! It’s proven to be a useful addition to our camper kitchen, well worth the space it takes up. It heats quickly. It has space for 2 sandwiches at a time, so no one has to wait. It can also make quesadillas or even tiny pizzas. Cleanup is a breeze, just wipe it out with a damp cloth. We ended up liking this so much, it will be living in the house in winter so we can get even more use out of it. Very happy we took a chance on trying a different sandwich maker!

This sandwich Queen is one happy customer!! – I love quesadillas and sandwiches, also because they are a fast meal especially if you wait till you are on the verge of being hangry. Depending on the sandwich or quesadilla I would normally use the stovetop, toaster oven or my most used appliance the Planet Pizza cooker which is perfect for quesadillas and grilled cheese sandwiches….which is now giving me the side eye because I no longer need it or any of those other appliances because this sandwich maker cooks my egg, breakfast meats, toast my bread and melts the cheese all in one perfectly size appliance. I like that it doesn’t take up any room in my cabinet, it’s super easy to clean, I don’t to have grease it or even flip the food. Being a widow I have no need for the larger cooking items, so this is perfect for me.
