I love Whirlybird Pop – I have been a long time user of Whirly Pop. I hate microwave popcorn. With Whirly Pop you get the best tasting popcorn every time. There is nothing else like it. Every Friday night my daughter and I get together for popcorn night. A movie and popcorn. She has a Whirly Pop as well. You can’t go wrong!

A must have for theater style popcorn – We have started popping our popcorn the traditional way on the stove. But shaking a pot on the stove can easily damage the cooktop. Problem solved with this product. The stirring mechanism moves the popcorn kernels and popped corn around to keep them from burning. Very few unpopped kernels left behind. If you want theater style popcorn (the way it used to be made at the theater) you must have this product along with flavored coconut oil, Flavacol seasoning and premium popcorn.

Best popper ever – I’ve owned three of these over many years. There is no comparison to this popper. Follow directions and it pops perfect popcorn. Never use anything but medium heat. Always watch the popper until it’s done popping or you can burn it. I don’t like to use a scratchy wool cleaner on aluminum.

Best popcorn I’ve ever made, every time! – With my usual pots, it was hit or miss if the popcorn got burned or too many kernels were left unpopped. With this, I just dump in the kernels and oil, turn it on, turn the crank for about 3 to 4 minutes, and voila! A huge pot full of big bursting kernels, almost everything popped, and not a single burned piece. If you’d like butter, take it off the heat, pour a little melted butter in, and turn again to disperse evenly. I’ve used olive, canola, and coconut oils as well as ghee, and all have worked out great. Much more sustainable and better for you than microwave bags with iffy chemicals in them.

Overall a very good popcorn maker – This is replacing my old method of using a steel bowl that I would cover with tin foil and have to shake a lot to make popcorn. The whirley-pop is way easier and faster.
