Only popper you ever need – This is the second popcorn popper I’ve bought as it is the only one you’ll ever need ! Makes amazingly delicious popcorn Every time! Doesn’t burn the bottom of the pan, popcorn comes out fluffy and can use oils I can have due to allergies. Makes enough to feed the whole family for movie night!

Great popcorn! – Ok, the Whirley popcorn popper makes really good popcorn. and if you purchase all the accessories like oil, flavoring, quality popcorn and special salt you get movie theatre popcorn. BUT, then you have to wash the popper, which is not a big deal. And for some people the Whirley Popper experience is great, and it is kind of fun, but for others…the micro wave popcorn is comparable. This is a positive review. and the popper is a well-made product.

Made in usa and really works – I bought the red whirley-pop popper and to my surprise it has metal gears not nylon. I have made several batches and they are the best popcorn I have ever made . There are virtually no unpoped kernels . I absolutely love this popper and best of all it’s maid in the USA.

Quick and easy to use – This is a great pot for popcorn. The pan is light and thinner than a regular pot so the popcorn starts popping quick. I’ve purchased several things to try to flavor like movie theaters that’s why I got this pot. I’ve found real butter is the best flavor with the flavacol. If you use oil and put it on high it will start popping quickly. If you use butter let it melt on medium because the butter will burn, then add popcorn and turn up the pot for about 1 minute it will start popping. Crank the handle and I pick it up for about 10 seconds off the burner so the butter doesn’t burn then set it back down for a few seconds and turn the burner off. The pot holds the heat so if it still has a little to pop do not open the flap. Let the heat inside finish popping. The only warning is when you try to pour it into a bowl with one flap open, the lid always comes loose when you tip it about half way and the popcorn falls everywhere because the lid falls off. It could use a better latch on the side without the flap. We lose popcorn every time no matter how slow because the lid pops off. I take the lid totally off and use a hot pad to pour the pan.
