Perfect for Coffee and Tea – As a coffee and tea drinker, this kettle was a game changer! I like that I can choose the temperature using a dial rather than preset temps. You can also flip from F to C with the push of a button, which is helpful when a tea recommends brew temps in C, and I don’t have to google a temp conversion. I’d say on average, it will boil water from the tap in about 3-4 minutes. Now that it’s getting colder outside, I think it may be taking a little bit longer to boil. But that may just be me being more desperate for my cozy beverages. Would definitely recommend!

You can choose whatever target temp you desire, although it defaults to 212 degrees when first turned on. The long narrow spout lets you gently dispense the hot water over a tea bag or infuser of your choice. The kettle neither steams nor whistles which means you can use it under a shelf on the counter (no condensation under the shelf above) and it is super quiet when in use. I took a couple points off for the “ease of use” category because the tri-fold owner’s manual is poorly translated to English and it took awhile to figure out how to activate the “keep warm” function. To use this function, one must select a brew temp at or below 204 degrees and the kettle will then cycle off and on to maintain that temp for up to two hours.
