It’s a game changer! – First, let me say that the toaster bar at our house was set pretty low. We’d been getting by with an old, cranky, temperamental machine for so long it functioned as more of a smoke alarm tester than a toaster. The dog ran outside in a panic if anyone so much as got out a piece of bread. So, anything short of an open flame would have been an improvement, but this one is amazing. Love the bread toasting scale, very helpful in a household where toasting tastes range from barely warm to charcoal. The countdown timer is great, keeps you from popping it up to see if it’s done, then putting it back down, then forgetting about it and setting off the smoke alarm. And validating the dog’s fear of the toaster. The bagel button is an actual bagel function in that it only toasts one side rather than both. Have not tried the warming rack but it does pop up with a push of a button and seems it would do the trick. We’ve only had this a week or so but have not once set off the alarm. The dog is still not convinced but hopefully in time she’ll love this toaster as much as we do.

Finally a toaster that can handle naan bread – I’ve been searching for a toaster that can handle naan bread (a type of Indian flat bread). Small slices of naan are usually quite long in one dimension. So you need a super wide slot in the toaster. This toaster handles it very well. I also like how easy it is to replicate the perfect browning setting, over and over again by rotating a knob and observing the digital display. It even provides a countdown display that indicates how long before your toast is done. The one thing I miss that was a feature of other toasters in my collection is being able to lift up on the toaster lever to raise your toast above the slot so that it is easier to grab ahold of the hot toast and move it to your plate. That’s the one thing that would truly make this the perfect toaster.

Finally a toaster that can handle naan bread – I’ve been searching for a toaster that can handle naan bread (a type of Indian flat bread).
