Great temperature control and delicious food – Now I have a lot more confidence in my food that is left in the slow cooker. Some things may take a little bit more time, but it is absolutely worth it as the temperature does not get too high to cause issues with texture and flavor of the food. highly recommend.

Temperature on Low is not to Hot, just right for me. – Had a very old round Crock Pot that worked great but the insert got chipped so time to get a new one. The wife just wanted a basic Crock Pot/Slow Cooker, not a fancy multi function pot so I picked up another very basic Cooker. We use it for such foods as Spaghetti Meat Sauce, Chili, nothing very fancy but like to let it cook for 8 to 10 hours on low. The cheaper new one I purchased had my wife very concerned because even on low her chili was really bubbling almost to a boil after just a few hours. After some research I discovered many of the new Slow Cookers run very hot even on low. However the reviews from some test kitchens stated this Slow Cooker actually does run at a low temperature on low, just like some of the older units so thought I would give this one a try.

Good not Great while it lasted. – Bought this in January 2018. It was good while it lasted. However it’s almost in its fifth year and has completely broken. I have to say I am very disappointed. I bought the same exact crockpot for my daughter and it broke in two years. I really love KitchenAid appliances. My last crockpot lasted over 12 years.

Nice slow cooker – Pricey but nice. Cooked a roast yesterday w/ all the veggies, don’t do slow cooking. Took longer than told on the recipe. Will eat it today. I’m very satisfied w/ having this since my cheap but good crock pot died many yrs ago! Thanks from advice of Americans Food Cooking!
